With your extensive experience and deep understanding of Ruby and web development practices, you'll lead complex projects, mentor a diverse team of developers, and ensure the delivery of innovative and high-performance web applications. What you will do: - Define and oversee the technical strategy and direction for Ruby development projects, ensuring alignment with the organizations goals and long-term vision. - Lead and manage a team of Ruby developers, setting clear objectives, fostering professional growth, and promoting collaboration. - Oversee the entire lifecycle of Ruby applications, from initial concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance. - Implement and advocate for best practices in software development, focusing on Ruby and associated technologies. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in Ruby development, evaluating and integrating cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. - Facilitate effective communication between the Ruby development team and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and project success. - Address and resolve complex technical challenges, making critical architectural and design decisions. - Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence within the team. Heres what we are looking for: - 7+ years of experience with Ruby. - Proficient in Agile methodologies, ensuring efficient project delivery and team collaboration. - In-depth knowledge of Design Patterns. - Advanced IT infrastructure knowledge. - Strong experience in application security best practices. - Proven track record in developing and integrating large-scale applications. - Expertise in both back-end and front-end development areas. - Skilled in conducting code reviews and managing CI/CD pipelines. - Expert understanding of client's requirements, assessing potential benefits and weaknesses. - Advanced knowledge of the trade-offs involved in choosing specific technologies or solutions. - Strong experience leading client and stakeholder meetings, effectively communicating technical concepts. - Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, task allocation, risk identification, decision-making, time estimation, conflict resolution, and project planning. - Advanced level of English.
