In 2022/23, the Group posted ¬6,6 bn turnover.For more information, visit Contract : VIEContract period: 18-24 monthsPosition location: São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo BRAYour missions:As an HSE Engineer you will report to the ProcessSafety Manager within the Health & Safety department, your mainmission will be to participate with the implementation and application of theoperational risk management policy in all plants and operations of our TereosSugar and Energy Brazil (TSEB) entity, through the acknowledgement, studyand practice of all risk management tools and processes, as well as thecreation of support tools for their integration and optimization, in the formof automated and manual procedures. All this with the support and supervisionof the process safety management and the team as a whole.Your day-to-day activities:Analyse risks on the shopfloor through the application of risk management tools (WRAC, Bowtie, LVCC, VFL, etc.).Provide diagnostics and assessment of the effectiveness of these tools, their completeness, and their usefulness for TSEB operations.Study the nature of operational risks and how they are organized, catalogued, and classified across the multiple layers of risk management (DUER?).Introduce new risk assessment methods to improve the organization and standardization of risks, particularly in their quantitative classification, providing standardized measures of the likelihood and severity of typical risks, and creating frameworks for their quantification.Participate in monitoring performance indicators and improving their effectiveness through visualization and action plans.Study the risks and corresponding recommendations mapped by our property insurer, and their different natures and modes of implementation.Support the creation of a structured approach to these risks, providing frameworks to tackle them in spread out operations through multiple sites.Assist the department in monitoring and controlling their implementation.Your profile:Bachelors Degree: Health & Safety, Statistics, IT, Mathematics, or related field.Experience in programming, health & safety or industry is useful.English (advanced or fluent)You are rigorous, have good interpersonal and analytical skills and you are able to synthesize information.Reasons to join us:Joining Tereos means giving yourself the opportunity to develop within a cooperative group that is a leader in its markets.It is also the opportunity to undertake in a collaborative and meaningful environment in order to meet the challenges of tomorrow in terms of food, energy and health through the valorisation of plant raw materials.We ensure personal and collective development through our initiatives to promote quality of life at work and personal and professional life balance.
