Base location: São Leopoldo, RS Language Requirement: Fluent in English Summary & Role Information: The Technology Consultant is accountable for driving Buyer's integration initiative with the SAP Ariba Solutions to automate their buying processes and drive collaborative commerce with their vendors. The Technology Consultants responsibilities include implementation of the technical components of the SAP Ariba Solutions open interfaces to the customers business applications. The Technology Consultant serves as an Ariba Network and Ariba On-Demand expert on integration options for the customer requirements and influencer of resources that impact the customer's success. The Integration Consultant will demonstrate the ability to oversee multiple programs and provide technical support as they grow their knowledgebase of Ariba tools and technology. Strong communication skills and a strong technical background is required to effectively drive customer projects Responsibilities & Tasks: Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise Architect, blueprint, design, and realize technical landscape and configuration for cloud-based solutions and lead customers technical teams to achieve their goals during implementation. Design solution to facilitate cloud integration and perform detailed planning of technical process implementation. Knowledge of relevant SAP procurement solutions like SAP Ariba, SAP SRM, SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, and non-SAP technologies (e.g. databases, software stacks and infrastructure components) Plan and estimate cloud development activities based on the customizations determined from functional specifications Determine TO-BE" processes with best fit alternatives and vet these with customer business unit representatives across the globe to secure their alignment Identify technical process gaps, and provide alternatives to design teams Support setup and connectivity of integrated system landscapes (On Premise, Cloud and Hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies Support or maintain project plan for technical work stream Manage technical performance expectations and serve as a technical advisor to customers throughout engagements. Assess technical issues and develop system solutions for the deployment Provide support for escalated projects and system optimization, perform issue and status tracking, as well as provide weekly updates and escalate critical issues to Team and Project Take responsibility from time to time as team lead and support respective line manager(s) in people-development tasks Functional Experience: Bachelors degree in information technology, Engineering or related field Deep experience of work experience required Robust experience technology consulting Proven experience with SAP Ariba customer implementations Experience with designing integrations of SAP Ariba solutions with SAP ECC, SAP SRM SAP ERP Technical know-how to troubleshoot and debug system integration Technical planning, implementation and configuration experience Managerial Experience: Takes responsibility from time to time as a sub-project lead and/or team lead Act as a coach for colleagues and/or customers and partners Active contribution to a technology related community Travel: Position requires up to 10% travel to client locations across Americas (post covid).
