Location: SP Red Hill In this role, you will be supporting our commercial department by applying appropriate scientific tests and procedures to any sample submitted for testing and producing accurate, valid results as requested/required, using a range of methods from standard and well-established routines to specially adapted processes. Shifts These shifts are second shift M-F between 7:00  3:30 PM with rare opportunities to fill in for alternative shifts and weekends. Some flexibility may be necessary. Responsibilities Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures for mineral processing. Maintain laboratory procedure and process logs. Keep lab areas clean and safe at all times. Identify/eliminate existing and potential process contamination problems. Maintain absolute security of the lab areas at all times. Keep the supervisor apprised of all process problems and interruptions. Assist with construction and maintenance in the lab. Qualifications Experience in a laboratory setting or plant operations is preferred. Working knowledge of instrumentation, lab practices, and handling chemicals is preferred. The ability to work with computers, software, and lab equipment is preferred.
