Manager Solution Consulting LATAM - Sao Paulo, Brazil
Reporting directly to the VP, International Presales; a Manager Solution
Consulting is leading one of the regional SC teams, providing the necessary
support and leadership to achieve both Corporate and local business goals.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
Is part of the management team of the region and thus responsible for Solution
Consulting as a whole, delivering efficient and high-level support to the regions
sales teams.
Developing the EIM portfolio knowledge, technical skills and soft skills of the SC
team and the wider SC community to be up to delivering first class support.
Supporting with his/her team a well-defined part of the regional business, in
regular contact with the VP, International Presales
Working with Sales to qualify opportunities and mitigate risks. Working
proactively with periphery departments (PS, Products, etc.) to reduce the risk of
a deal being lost to product issues.
Takes personal ownership of the most important deals his/her team is involved in
each quarter.
Presents high level strategy to CxO level executives.
Leveraging existing data sources (ex. SFDC) to develop ROI metrics and reporting
for both operational and Sales Management use to ensure the performance and
direction of the team are in line with corporate and local revenue goals
Developing an atmosphere of trust, understanding and assisting each other within
the team and contributing to an overall team spirit throughout assigned region.
Desired Capabilities:
Strong understanding of the LATAM region and track record of selling OpenText
solutions to large enterprise customers in the region
Industry expertise is a plus
Self-motivating, problem solving, task ownership, and problem resolution skills
Must be able to operate under minimal supervision with judgment for independent
actions
Strong presentation and explanation skills
Excellent solution selling and value-based selling approach
Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of EIM solutions
Ability to travel as required
