Sr. Logistics Analyst Brazil 3PL Site Lead
Basic Function and Scope of the Position
The Sr. Logistics Analyst works with Management to ensure logistics processes,
practices, and initiatives are in compliant with global standards. The Sr.
Logistics Analyst will work closely with the Trans Nasser Operations team to
oversee the daily shipping/receiving operations, work closely with our internal
partners to drive priorities, coordinate & schedule carrier pickups for air
freight movement, and drive best practices to drive high customer satisfaction and
improve & maintain on time delivery to our customers. This position is based out
of São Paulo Brazil and requires someone who is bilingual in English and
Portuguese.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Support Customer Experience improvements around Supply Chain by collaborating with
key stakeholders.
Lead efforts to drive continuous improvement in Order to Delivery process
driving high customer satisfaction & lowering operating costs.
Lead efforts to improve and maintain on time delivery in excess of 98%.
Manage and schedule day to day carrier pick-ups and schedules.
Track and Manage orders, updating key stakeholders Resolve day to day
operational issues.
Ensure internal distribution & 3PL SOPs and WIs are current, effective and
individuals are trained.
Collaborate with Inventory Control & 3PL to ensure inventory adjustments, scrap
transactions, and to resolve inventory variances.
Define, justify, and prioritize new initiatives and opportunities, recommend next
steps and project follow up, as needed.
Track projects, deliverables, critical issues, and action items; follow up to
ensure completion to schedule.
Coordinate, prepare and/or drive deliverables for Quarterly Reviews, All-Hands
Meetings, strategic planning process, and budgeting.
Provide support to the regional and local teams on any customs-related queries,
audits or investigations.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external
customers. Active, engaged listening and responses to the customer providing an
exceptional customer experience.
Identify and report any potential risks or violations and support the
implementation of any corrective actions.
Preferred Educational and Experience Background
Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree
(preferred).
General experience with global, regional and local customs regulations, import and
export requirements and procedures.
Strong leadership and internal and external customer service.
Experience in an FDA/ISO regulated environment with biotech consumables, medical
devices and/or the deployment of Quality Systems and process controls preferred.
Experience working in best in class operations organizations.
Ability to identify and resolve complex problems that arise in relations to
logistics activities.
Customer-focused; keeps customers as a priority when making business decisions,
listening to customer feedback and advocating for solutions that help drive
improvement in the customers experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Team oriented, collaborative partner that passionately advocates and articulates
her/his opinion while maintaining flexibility to incorporate others point of
views.
Ability to influence and work with a diverse indirect team in a fast-paced
environment.
Ability to exercise sound judgement within established guidelines.
Proven self-starter; can work independently and in grey space.
Excellent written, presentation, and communications skills.
Advanced level of experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Strong understanding of inventory control, including cycle counting knowledge and
experience (SEFAZ, Nota Fiscal).
Experience with analytical tools and applications.
Experience driving projects and KPIs/metrics.
Ideal candidate is seeking growth within Operations.
Experience using an ERP system (SAP preferred).
Familiar with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), Good
Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and ISO and FDA
regulated environments.
Other
Willing & able to travel to customer locations and Illumina sites as needed.
Willing to work as necessary to achieve defined goals and objectives.
APICS certification a plus.
Diligent, detail oriented, with ability to work independently while possessing
strong cross collaboration skills.
Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokerage experience is a plus.
Experience in the Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Healthcare industries is a plus.
Bilingual English/Portuguese Required.
