What you'll do As the Sr. Accounting Specialist, you have in-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. You have proficiency in accounting systems, and strong motivation to contribute to the achievement of efficient monthly, quarterly, and annual close financial reporting processes. You pay great attention to detail and have the ability to deliver results under deadlines as well as working effectively cross-functionally in a rapidly changing environment. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Accounting. Responsibility Prepare manual Journal entries in local accounting system Reconcile balance sheet accounts Reconcile general ledger to sub-ledgers (AP, AR and FA) Be responsible for indirect tax calculation and preparation of monthly tax returns Manage income tax calculation in compliance with RFB rules and adjustments to tax books Prepare spreadsheets for P&L and BS variance analysis Track trends and facilitate ad-hoc projects Job Designation Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time. Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related fields 5+ years of related experience Brazilian statutory accounting experience with knowledge of CPCs (local GAAP) Preferred Experience in a large corporation or SaaS technology company Experience with NetSuite or other large well-known ERP and/or accounting systems High degree of analytical and problem-solving capability Ability to work independently and balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization Fluent English will be a plus Indirect tax experience MS Excel proficiency Previous work in major accounting firms or multinational companies Life at DocuSign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
