Job/Position Summary Job Summary:The SW Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for working with team of engineers responsible for conducting process compliance audits, creating audit checklist, providing training to cross functional team on Quality Management Systems.Job Responsibilities: Verify Project quality by conducting Process, Work Product Integrity and ASPICE audits.Identify the list of suppliers to be assessed in every assessment cycle.Conduct Supplier Audits as per ASPICE standards for Specific Programs.Conduct Quality reviews on Software Readiness Report (SW Release plan).Conduct Quality reviews on component (ECUs) verification report of SW drops at vehicle milestones.Conduct SW Release reviews for internal developed SW of ECUs.Helping users successfully adopt processes, and tailor as needed to fit the projects circumstances.Optimizing interfaces between areas within Powertrain, Vehicle and Corporate Processes.Prepare and Conduct Training on Quality Management Systems (QMS).Building Harmonized Process documents.Defining artifacts/work products for the entire Software V Cycle.Assist Engineers in Risk/Issue management & Root Cause Analysis and reporting.Building Tasks and Artifacts in Applications Lifecycle Management Tool (IBM ALM Tool Suite).Develop a Program Quality Strategy/Plan and communicate to relevant stakeholders for every program in-scope.Perform Quality Milestones checks, prepare reports, and communicate results.Define Process Compliance Checks and the frequency of conducting them.Perform Process Compliance Checks, prepare reports, and communicate results.Participate in defining product and SW Maturity grades.Conduct Technical Reviews on SW life cycle development phases i.e. requirement, SW architecture, SW design, unit testing, integration testing, and System testing.Report quality KPIs and identified risks to relevant stakeholders.Provide constant reporting to management on the results and risks associated with assessment findings. Required Skills/Experience: 4+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development.Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent Other experience/knowledge.Experience in conducting process compliance Audit.Experience in engineering process development.Experience in Metrics and dashboard creation.Experience in creating guidelines checklists as per ASPICE process methodology.Self-starter and motivated to produce results.Excellent working knowledge of configuration management tool. Experience in using disciplined software development process. Must be able to work independently with little supervision.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge on ASPICE / CMMI Process Methodology.Knowledge on Agile methodology.Experience in providing training from small to large groups.Knowledge on each phase of the V model of SW development life cycle.
