What we are looking for someone who: is comfortable with the entire web stack, from front-end HTML, CSS and JS to server-side Ruby-on-Rails has experience with several different data stores such as PostgresSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch has solid knowledge in object oriented and functional programming. knows what and how to build and maintain unit, functional and acceptance tests. has a strong command of design patterns and software architecture. has excellent writing and communication skills. loves working in small, dynamic teams. previous experience with financial products is highly desirable, but not required.
