Job Purpose and Impact
This role drives business origination for TCM (Trade & Capital Markets) focused in
developing corporate and sovereign relationships for Brazil. The position is
responsible for generating revenue to drive the groups growth initiatives by
developing new business opportunities with corporates and sovereings in the
region. This role will also support the growth initiatives by working with the
existing team in generating new business opportunities as well as solidifying
existing relationships with TCM customers.
The Senior Origination Trader must possess strong corporate finance skills and
experience, trade finance experience and have the ability to understand customers
needs and provide them with financial solutions that fit those needs.
Key Accountabilities
Develop new customer relationships leading to additional revenue generation.
Innovation of new products/structures.
Prospect and develop new Corporate and Sovereing counterparties within Brazil.
Work with existing team in developing and maintaining existing customers by
marketing current TCM structures/products
Development of new and innovative financial solutions which are typically complex
in nature. Negotiate and finalize financing structures and terms and conditions
with customers.
Identifies inherent risks and develops risk mitigation strategies along with other
TCM functions
Going deeper and nurturing existing relationships solidify current base.
Different projects as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Required Qualifications
Strong financial modeling skills
Corporate & Trade finance understanding and experience
Credit / risk understanding, including trade credit insurance
English/Portuguese Professional Advanced
Solid and Proven experience in Corporate/Trade Finance experience
Experience in commercial activity
Project Finance related experience a plus
Technical Skills:
Strong communication skills
Strong customer relationship capabilities
Strong customer development/prospecting capabilities
Strong analytical capability
Attention to detail, curious, comfortable with complex situations and ambiguity.
Driven, self-starter with high level of verbal and listening skills.
