04-Oct-2024 Senior Cloud Engineer 730538BR Your Role and Responsibilities The Senior Cloud Engineer with VMware Skills plays a crucial role in leading and delivering complex projects related to cloud migration, management, and optimization using VMware technologies. As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate closely with architects, developers, and project managers to design, implement, and validate innovative cloud solutions tailored to our clients' needs. Leading cloud engineering projects involving VMware technologies, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines and budgets. Conducting thorough analysis of clients' current infrastructure and identifying opportunities for improvement through cloud migration and optimization. Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures using VMware technologies such as vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vRealize Suite. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges, provide guidance, and ensure smooth project execution. Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the development of team members through knowledge sharing and coaching. Keeping up-to-date with latest trends, tools, and best practices in cloud engineering, particularly in relation to VMware technologies. You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vRealize Suite. Proficiency in cloud orchestration and automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders. Experience in conducting feasibility assessments, creating detailed designs, and executing migrations to public clouds. Professional certifications such as VCP, VSP, VCAP, or similar VMware credentials.
