Job DescriptionThe Pharma Solutions business will be taking on its next chapter of growth as a trusted partner for the pharmaceutical industry with the announcement to sell Pharma Solutions to Roquette. This move will position Pharma Solutions to expand its industry leadership through continued investment in innovation to meet the evolving needs of pharmaceutical manufacturers and developers worldwide. The sale is presently expected to close in the first half of 2025, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. The Pharma Solutions business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to Roquette. This is an exciting position for a Sales Manager to join a very dynamic and experienced commercial team. The responsibility is to manage and expand a customer base established in the Latin American region within the Food Ingredients business of the Pharma Solutions Division. As the Latin American Sales Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible to manage a network of regional distributors, as well as manage directly Key Accounts. The position is located in Brazil. Travel is expected to be 20% to 30%.Responsibilities:
Work in collaboration with an existing assigned customer portfolio to deliver the sales plan. Develop in-depth understanding of customer needs, maintain and develop relationships, accurately forecast customer demand, customer negotiations, manage pricing, develop new growth opportunities and maintain an opportunity pipeline, key account plans, sales reports, etc. Drive growth with assigned accounts and establish collaborative relationships. Support marketing activities:
product launches, campaigns, trade shows. Qualifications / Critical Competencies:
Min. 3-5 years of experience in managing food & beverage customers and/or food
ingredients distributors in the target geography. Fluency in English / Good
command of Spanish, spoken and written, is required to manage customers across the
geography. Chemistry or food engineering bachelors degree. Customer Focus/ Action
Oriented Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of
urgency, high energy and enthusiasm. Drive to results, self-driven and work
independently. Excellent communication, both verbal and written, analytical and
interpersonal skills. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work internally
with regional teams and the global Food Ingredients team. Learning agility to grow
