- Provide guidance on development of quality procedures in the areas of Rig
Technologies, as well as implementation of global procedures, ensuring compliance
with the requirements of API Q1 and standards, product standards, legal,
and customer requirements. - Manage Plants QMS and maintain certification to API
Q1/ and other API 16AR requirements. - Manage internal and external
audits related to ISO/product standards, legal and customer requirements. -
Monitor and implement corrective and preventive actions, ensuring the application
of proper methodology for identifying the root causes, plan corrective actions and
to avoid recurrence via Intelex system. - Perform periodic Management Reviews as
per NOV procedures for improvement of QMS. - Plan appropriate resources to support
operational needs and activities needed for process improvement. - Provide Support
for qualification and reassessment of suppliers critical to the organization and
their proper records in the organizations current system. - Continuously monitor
the level of customer satisfaction through indicators and other available tools;
-Support the implementation and, when necessary, lead continuous improvement
projects in the organization. - Manage all activities related to Documentation
Specialists, such as inspection reports, databooks and equipment certifications; -
Working with QC manager, monitor activities related to Metrology, ensuring the
appropriate condition of the measuring instruments as well as all the appropriate
updated controls. - Manage and coordinate team activities, including training,
development, performance evaluation, hiring decisions, and setting performance
goals and objectives for the department; - Support and implement global quality
requirements including the goals and objectives and report performance. - Support
the other departments in mapping theirprocesses and solving problems, through the
use of quality tools. - Reduce Cost of Quality working with operations and improve
OTD. - Demonstrate engagement and collaborate with other functional departments in
problem solving activities and preparing reports for presentations. - Manage
department budgets and expenses. - Demonstrate leadership on customer inquiries,
visits and requests. - Stay engaged with the Quality Control activities and
monitor daily shop floor issues for quick rectifications. - Support Global Quality
initiatives and provide feedback for process improvement. REQUIREMENTS:- Higher
education in Administration, Engineering or related areas;- MBA/Postgraduate
degree in Administration, Engineering or related areas is desirable;- API Q1 and
training required;- Training in Continuous Improvement Methodologies (Six
Sigma, Kaizen, QRM, Lean Manufacturing, among others);- Training in Quality
Management System Standards;- Solid experience as a Quality Manager and/or
Coordinator in other companies;- Advanced English and Spanish.

Manage activities related to Quality Assurance and Quality Control ensuring
conformance with NOV Global Repair PBA and other global processes and systems.
Responsible to ensure maintenance of the QMS through established procedures and
systems. Responsible for the team of Quality Assurance and Quality control
personnel and provide guidance for effective planning and execution of Quality
activities. Develop, monitor, and improve Quality Objectives and key KPIs. Monitor
and improve customer satisfaction by providing timely feedback on issues and
concerns raised via MSNs and collecting their periodic feedback surveys.
