ROLE PURPOSE
We are looking for a Project Assistant to support SBM Offshores Project team in
the Rio Office. You perform various duties with flexibility and ownership within
your assigned remit and work closely with Project team. You apply and uphold SBMs
policies and procedures with a high degree of (customer) focus, discretion, and
confidentiality.
ROLE CONTRIBUTION
Schedule meetings and meeting rooms upon request of project teams.
Interface with personal logistics assistance to organize business trips and trips
offshore for project team.
Perform administrative and office support tasks, ensure compliance with internal
processes, efficient filing and auditable record keeping.
Responsible for support in the procurement of goods and services.
Prepare content such as PowerPoint presentations and excel tables.
Take ownership to define and develop scope by understanding and evaluating the
project requirements.
Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate stakeholder to minimize delays in
deliverables.
Ensure good house-keeping of deliverables;
Network with stakeholders to serve as a source of support in executing project
deliverables; ensure proactive two-way communication.
REQUIREMENT
Proven trouble shooting capabilities and problem-solving mindset;
Previous successful experience with SAP / IFS
Strong computer proficiency (MS Office) in particular Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
and PowerPoint;
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to write with good spelling and grammar.
Organization skills:
Ability to thoroughly organize and coordinate meetings/events/projects, both
internally and offsite.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Able to work in an environment with frequent changes to tasks and priorities;
Able to effectively communicate with stakeholders in different layers of the
organization;
Knowledge of crewing operational processes and practices is a plus;
Mandatory Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
