About this opportunity
The Sr. Procurement Specialist Latam will lead a group of commodities merged by
products, consumers, and services provider in which will seek for the best Total
Cost Analysis in the bottom-line guarantee to the company the best price and
service analysis. Internal reference for coaching, designing, modeling, and
implementing new or modified process to guarantee the best savings for the
company.
In this role, you will&
Process and analyze RFI, RFP, RFQ and economics matrix to determine price of
goods, work, and services.
Prepare and issue supplier (contractor, vendor) prequalification invitations by
different system and methods in alignment with client areas.
Manage purchase to pay (P2P) process.
Monitor suppliers and customers, collecting and analyzing requests received from
customers, building a management process for each category under the
responsibility of the specialist.
Manage all the supporting documentation, including draft agreements, documents on
acceptance of a contract phase execution, in alignment with the legal team.
Leading quality meetings with the supplier x internal customer to guarantee
business continuity and partnership.
Follow-up action plan with suppliers and internal clients.
Implementing purchasing improvement routines for its role and the internal
customers.
Planning purchase order in the system, and support client area according to the
purchasing policy.
Assist in the reinforcement of the company's purchasing policy, and development of
process governance.
Conduct negotiations with suppliers to meet the financial targets aligned with the
services required by the project.
Work with strategic sourcing using available data and access customer areas to
propose opportunities and improvements to the business, bringing the best
cost-benefit.
In this role, you will need &
Bachelors in business administration, Engineering or similar.
4-6 years of experience in procurement, sourcing and activities related.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint.
Advanced English:
Spanish is desirable.
Experience creating business deliverables within the Microsoft Office Suite:
Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Ability to think creatively, deal with ambiguity and changing priorities.
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with widely diverse
group, including individuals at all levels and gain their cooperation.
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in negotiation skills and contract management.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, proactive;
Able to demonstrate initiative-taking customer service.
Sensitive position regarding supply chain security or compliance with tax and
customs obligations.
