Were always improving on the tools and technology that empower content developers worldwide.What You'll DoThe Fortnite Creative Team is bringing the entire toolset of Unreal Engine and the Unreal Editor to developers and creators to make and publish experiences within Fortnite. As part of this team, you will implement gameplay systems, APIs, and tools that will empower Fortnite creators to build the next generation of amazing gameplay experiences!In this role, you will Own the technical design, implementation, and delivery of major technical gameplay features and systemsSolve technical challenges and maintain gameplay features and systems that underpin Unreal Editor for Fortnite and Fortnite CreativeDistill product-level feature requests into meaningful, actionable work itemsDeep-dive into technical challenges and drive the vision and solutions across teamsBuild and maintain relationships with stakeholders and other teams within and outside of Epic GamesMentor others to support their technical and professional growthWrite robust, maintainable code What we're looking for 10+ years of experience in gameplay programming, including professional experience designing and implementing scalable, robust systems on AAA games or game engine technologiesYou are self-motivated, solutions-focused, and own the outcomeExcellent C++ skills and software engineering principlesA keen analytical mind with strong problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate fluently in English (written and verbal) ABOUT USEpic Games spans across 19 countries with 55 studios and 4,500+ employees globally.
