This is an exciting opportunity to apply your experience in a fast-paced environment and continue growing your l                                                                             What You'll Do:Gather and verify information through interviews, observation and research ensuring that the news reported remains objective and balancedMonitor sources for breaking news, e.g., wires and social mediaPlan, write, edit, and voice news broadcastsFinalize content using digital audio editing softwareMaintain crucial deadlines in order to provide news stories in a timely fashionRepackage content from producers and field reporters for newscastsIdentify technical equipment and resource requirements for recording interviews and other audio materialProduce features and interviews as assignedMay specialize in a particular field of news broadcasting (e.g. political, traffic, finance or military)Prepare written content, visual images, audio material and video footage for websites, blogs or other social-media platformsPosition will include shift work.
