Services Dimensions: In a highly regulated context, the authorities are permanently verifying the performance of HSSE Environment risk management and the mitigation measures in place to reduce environmental impacts. Any deviation to the HSSE Environment performance can lead to Operation stoppage or license withdrawal. This can have a huge and unacceptable impact on our Production, operations stand-by and associated costs, as well our HSSE credibility towards authorities if the HSSE performance is degraded. The position of the Environmental Operations advisor includes the management of activities to obtain and maintain environmental licenses for the Companys activities, by means of planning, guidance and control of the environmental processes, ensuring its alignment with the applicable legislation. The Environmental Operations advisor shall elaborate communication letters and reports and assure the quality and adherence of the technical reports to the IBAMA and legislation requirements. He/she must identify deviations against the mandatory programs and the international standards like ISO 14001. and ISO 50001. Main Activities: The designee shall perform his/her activities in compliance with the HSE Management System, aligned with One Maestro Principles and oriented to safeguard the integrity of people, bearing in mind to preserve the environment and resources by contributing to improve our energy efficiency and decarbonization of Companys assets and reputation. Ensure the knowledge, update and adherence to all technical legislation that rule the environmental licensing processes for Companys activities. Technically coordinate the environmental licensing processes required for the offshore activities of the Company, including the register and control of the related documentation. Guarantee the quality of the documents that will be delivered to regulatory bodies, including letters, environmental studies and answers to technical appraisals. Coordinate the implementation of the environmental projects required by the License and the preparation of each correspondent report, mainly in the operations activities. Lead the implementation of the environmental projects. Support the Company GHG initiatives and reports. Act as an interface between the Company and the environmental services contractors. Control, register and guarantee the reports and documents of each licensing processes, in special for oil production activities, before, during and after the end of activities. Ensure technical quality, preparation and monitoring of environmental projects. Accountabilities: Obtain and maintain the environmental licenses as required. Guarantee the compliance of Companys operations in Brazil with all applicable legislation. Guarantee the implementation of all environmental projects committed in the license. Anticipate environmental regulatory demands, which may influence the Company´s projects. Promote a Strong management of environmental projects. Guarantee the coordination of the related to environment on emergency scenarios. Develop and keep updated a set of environmental procedures, which will guide the operations. Required Qualification and Experience: 5+ years of experience in the O&G industry, in special in oil production activities. Background in biology, geology/geography, engineering or oceanography. Organized person with anticipation skills. Fluent English and Portuguese (French is a plus) Communication and adaptability in multidisciplinary environment with good interaction with people. Knowledge of regulation monitoring systems (e.g. LEGNET) Knowledge of Brazilian environmental legislation and requirements related with offshore exploration and production activities.
