Job description
· Main responsible for local IT Infrastructure technical governance working in
conjunction with IT Head of CTO on all aspects of HBBZ IT infrastructure
management, looking after business-as-usual tasks, asset management, vendor
purchases and contracts, project management, controls, and documentations.
· Local infrastructure solutions design, acting as a consultancy for the latest
technologies solutions, including Collaborative tools, network, servers, DC &
Cloud and audio & video solutions according to Group standards and guidelines.
· Team leader for Telecom Analyst and Sys Admin Analyst (contractor).
· Telecommunications technical management working very close to HSBC Mexico and
other countries support teams. Full management and governance of local carriers
and related vendors, including local external connections such as RSFN and
customers VPNs.
· Service Desk management management of local deskside support contractors
acting as an escalation point of contact and support for local and regional needs.
· Data Centre infrastructure management coordination of new equipment
installation / demise (rack n stack), cabling, asset control, co-location vendor
management and interface with regional DCs team.
· IT Infrastructure incident management - accountable for ensuring that any local
IT infrastructure related incidents and events are managed effectively mitigating
business impact and proper communicate to the key stakeholders.
· IT infrastructure projects technical management for the new local
infrastructure implementations, such as local servers, telecom solutions, etc.
· Adhering to HSBC Group policies and governance processes, ensuring full
compliance with all IT guidance and requirements.
Requirements
· At least 5 (five) years of previous experience on the IT Infrastructure
scenario.
· Team leader experience.
· Technical skills knowledge:
o Data & Voice network;
o Firewall and Proxy functions;
o Windows and MS Office;
o Linux / Windows / Citrix virtualization
o DBA (Oracle and SQL)
· ITIL framework
· Cloud concepts
· Language skills:
English (Spanish is a differential)
