Financial Manager - Brazil

As part of our global expansion, we are establishing a subsidiary in Brazil to enhance our services and presence in the Latin American market.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Financial Manager to manage the financial-related work of our Brazilian
subsidiary. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial
operations and strategies of the company. He or she will play a crucial role in managing the
financial health of the company, ensuring compliance, optimizing profitability, and
supporting strategic decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial work
1. Daily accounting: Responsible for all financial related works of the company, such as
journal (voucher)entry, documents and invoices inspection, reconciliation, and
verification, and AR&AP. Provide audit accounts, expense accounts, etc. as required by the
finance center of the headquarters in China, and complete various work tasks issued by
the HQ finance center.
2. Financial statements: Responsible for the preparation and reporting of the company's
financial statements, such as balance sheet, profit sheet, cash flow statement, financial
analysis, etc., as well as other financial data required by management.
3. Tax management: Responsible for the company's tax management work, including daily
tax declaration, learning of tax knowledge, identification of tax risks, and tax regulations in
business activities. Assist the accounting firm in handling accounting and tax affairs.
4. Fund management: To ensure the safety of the company's funds, responsible for bank
coordination, budget preparation, and daily fund receipt, payment, and allocation. Assist in
handling cooperation matters between the company and banks and other financial
institutions, including account management, fund settlement, and loan applications.
5. Risk management: Cooperate with the general manager to supervise business
operations, timely alert potential major financial risks, including fund recovery, deposit
management, financial data security, etc.
- Collaborative support
1. Provide financial support and other work support during the start-up phase of the
company during its establishment process.
2. Learn the operation and development requirements docking of the self-developed
system at the Chinese headquarters, and cooperate with the debugging, updating, and
online work of the system during the company's implementation process.
3. Assist the General Manager in handling various matters in accordance with the
regulations and guidance documents of the Financial Center of the Chinese headquarters.
4. Act as the crucial liaison personnel between the HQ, the company, and business
partners, be responsible for the promotion and implementation of China headquarters;
financial systems and work standards in the company; report to HQ's financial center,
promote and integrate the company's financial system with local laws and ensure the
company's financial policies are complied with by all parties.
1. Bachelors degree or above, major in accounting, financial management, or related field. Experience in freight forwarding industry preferred.
2. Fluency in Portuguese and Chinese Mandarin is required. Knowledge of English is a plus.
3. At least 5 years of work experience in the same position, familiar with financial software and MS Office.
4. Having good analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous, patient, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
5. Having good communication and coordination skills, Able to clearly express and interpret financial data.
6. Having a high level of work enthusiasm and teamwork spirit, ability to adapt to the working environment of MNCs and respect different cultures_
