Apply by: 06/28/2024 - 07/05/2024 Responsible for guaranteeing the implementation of VPS/Operating Model Norms and Guidelines in Base Metals; Responsible for aligning the Operational Excellence initiatives with the overall VPS Strategy among the operations. Responsible for providing senior leadership the direction for implementation of management process, systems and tools, ensuring that the VPS/Operating Model are properly implemented, effectively managed, tracked and reported. Responsible for the general coordination of Base Metals South Atlantic CI Programs and projects - Six Sigma, Lean (SMED, Just in Time, Jidoka, Kaizen, TOC, process simulations (arena), Heijunka, etc), promoting events and trainings aiming at leveraging the engagement and capturing significant cost reductions and productivity increases throughout Base Metals operations. Responsible for working in partnership with the business leadership, promoting a common culture, focused on the excellence of performance, and strengthen the right behavior, ensuring better and sustainable results. Bachelors degree in a relevant field (such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Operations Management) is required. A Masters degree, especially an MBA in Operations Management, can enhance your chances. Experience in process improvement or a similar position. Experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or another process improvement methodology. Monitoring and reporting on organizational performance metrics. Strong project management abilities.
