We are expanding our talent pool for candidates with academic backgrounds in education (or currently pursuing) to work at Colégio Ábaco, unidade Sumaré / Middle School (Grades 6-9) / morning. - Main activities and responsibilities: - Preparing classes based on the school's pedagogical planning; - Sharing lesson plans with the Coordination team to make fine adjustments together if necessary; - Teaching classes following the schedule made alongside the pedagogical coordination, making sure all lessons and activities planned focus on students' learning and development; - Recording the main events of each class in the system, registering the presence or absence of all students and, if necessary, informing the school's pedagogical coordinator; - Participating in regular meetings with the entire educational team, aiming to share knowledge and improve processes; - Participating in parent-teacher conferences, in order to inform them of pupil development in the classroom, reporting improvements and difficulties; - Participating in technical training offered by the school at the end of each semester, in order to stay up-to-date with the trends in the area and be able to apply them in their classes. - Being a facilitator in the learning process in inclusive education and contributing to the evolution of their students through continuous planning and mutual respect between all parties involved. - Requirements: - No previous experience is required; - Having an international proficiency certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English: Advanced, or Cambridge English: Proficiency). CEFR Level C1 or C2 required. Skills: - Being organized to handle different classes, with different levels, contents, and needs; - Being empathetic to understand students' difficulties, which often go beyond the classroom environment; - Being punctual not to delay the beginning or end of classes. - Being curious and staying up-to-date in order to bring current topics to the context of all classes. - Desirable: - Specialization in the field of Pedagogy. - Compensation and benefits: - "CLT" hiring; - Salary compatible with the market; - Food allowance benefits; - Health insurance.
