Position: Director of Finance (iGaming Industry) Location: Brazil (initially remote, with potential for office-based work in the future) A leading player in the iGaming industry, dedicated to providing unparalleled entertainment experiences to their customers is seeking a dynamic Director of Finance to spearhead their financial operations in the region. Role Overview: As the Director of Finance, you will be an integral part of our initial team in Brazil, responsible for establishing and leading the finance function. You will collaborate closely with local stakeholders to build out a high-performing finance team while working seamlessly with our global finance team to ensure alignment with company-wide objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic financial expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the Brazilian regulatory framework and compliance requirements Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company's objectives in Brazil, ensuring alignment with global financial goals. Provide strategic guidance on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions to drive business growth and profitability. Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, empowering them to achieve individual and team goals while maintaining high standards of performance. Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, analyses, and forecasts to support decision-making at both local and global levels. Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and industry standards, mitigating financial risks and safeguarding company assets. Implement robust internal controls and procedures to maintain financial integrity and transparency across all operations. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Marketing, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs, to drive financial initiatives and achieve business objectives. Build strong relationships with external partners, regulators, and financial institutions to support the company's strategic objectives and expansion plans. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven experience (8+ years) in finance leadership roles within the iGaming or higher regulated industries with a track record of success in driving financial performance and growth. Strong understanding of Brazilian regulatory framework and compliance requirements related to gaming and gambling operations. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams across different locations. Fluency in Portuguese and English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
