Join the SAP Datasphere Foundation, a team that contributes to and drives
end-to-end features and key services in SAP Datasphere and Business Data Cloud,
one of the most strategic products in SAP. Our responsibility ranges from
provisioning to billing, from space management, and security to cloud qualities
such as elasticity and resource control.
What youll do
As a Development Manager of the SAP Datasphere Foundation team, you will:
Manage a growing, highly skilled, and motivated agile team of software developers
and QA engineering with different experience levels.
Lead, motivate, develop, and coach your employees.
Create an environment of education, trust, openness, agility, and motivation to
form and continuously improve the development team you are responsible for with a
tenacity to solve problems in a result-focused way.
Actively contribute to vision, strategy, architecture, and developments of SAP
Datasphere.
Guide the team on agile software development methodology, following DevOps
principles.
Assist in the creation of user stories, technical specifications, architecture
diagrams, and help track and maintain them throughout the development process.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to establish a close
relationship, aiming for the most sustainable prioritization among customer
feedback, overall product strategy, and internal requirements.
Be part in a distributed, international, and globally operating development
organization.
What you bring
University bachelors degree (or higher) in computer science or related fields
Strong track record of demonstrated growth in technical leadership including
project management, team leadership, or equivalent. You do not have to have been a
team lead before, but you should have experience beyond that of an individual
contributor.
Passion for robust, enterprise-scale software architecture
Cloud mindset, entrepreneurial drive, ability to think out of the box, and drive
innovation from idea to execution
Proven track record in leading and successfully delivering analytical or
data-driven cloud solutions
Strong professional hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript or
similar is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of SAP environment, SAP development processes, and SAP delivery
processes is a plus
