The Adoption Services Consultant is a key member of our global team, responsible
for ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing optimization of the Alex
product set for our clients. The role requires a combination of technical
expertise, customer-facing skills, and a passion for data.
This is a remote position with flexibility to work asynchronously, but it may
require occasional meetings across different time zones.
Day to day activities:
Product Expertise:
Become an expert in the capabilities of the Alex product set and how to leverage
them to achieve business value.
Configuration:
Work with customers, implementation, and product teams to configure the Alex
solution in customer environments.
Customer & Partner Enablement:
Enable customers and partners through training and support.
Requirements Gathering:
Gather and document detailed customer requirements to define the scope of
implementation projects.
Sales Assistance:
Assist sales with formal proposals and Statements of Work for required
implementation and ongoing professional services.
Feedback to Product Management:
Provide feedback to drive new features or address feature deficiencies.
Best Practices Development:
Develop and communicate best practices and solutions using the Alex platform via
presentations, blogs, and guides.
Opportunity Identification:
Identify new opportunities in existing customer sites to extend their Alex
deployment.
Project Planning & Estimation:
Work with the Delivery Manager on project planning and estimation.
Customer Relationship Management:
Forge relationships and gain the trust of the client base to ensure client
satisfaction.
Security & Compliance:
Adhere to company security policies, ensuring customer privacy and protection.
Continuous Improvement:
Advise the engineering team on requirement improvements and platform weaknesses.
Skills Required:
Must have skills
Passion for Data:
A deep technical understanding of how enterprise organizations benefit from the
Alex application.
Technology Company Experience:
Experience working in a dynamic, technology-focused environment.
SQL Proficiency:
SQL is essential; familiarity with SQLServer, Teradata, Oracle, and other
databases.
Exposure to ETL tools such as Hive, Informatica, ADF, Dbt etc.
Scripting And Programming Skills:
Ability to perform Unix scripting. Programming in Python.
Problem-Solving:
A knack for solving customer problems through technology.
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Cloud Data Platforms Knowledge:
Familiarity with platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, etc.
Customer Centricity:
Client-centric attitude with a focus on satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Security & Privacy:
Strict adherence to customer privacy and protection protocols.
