FX and global payments are critical drivers of the international growth agenda for
the global Payments business and J.P. Morgan Payments Brazil is looking for an
associate to join the Product Sales Specialist (PSS) team to support the execution
of the FX Payments growth strategy in Latin America.
The Cross Currency Solutions PSS associate will play a key role in the growth acceleration of the regional and cross-regional FX P&L through a full range of sales activities:
" Joint planning with Payments Sales, Bankers and FX Marketers across LATAM to
ensure solutioning alignment for clients
" Prospecting of clients that do not use the Cross Currency Solutions suite
" Mining the existing Payments portfolio for business development opportunities
" Managing attrition, pursuing portfolio growth with existing clients as well as
generating new business
" Supporting other members of the team with client pitches, opportunity analysis
and presentations to key stakeholders
The Cross Currency Solutions PSS associate will be part of a larger global team
that develops business across regions as well as within the region.
This role requires an understanding of FX, corporate workflow, the payments
landscape in addition to the role that cash management related FX plays in AP/AR
processes. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to work with a dynamic,
markets-oriented product set and directly drive growth of a key strategic solution
for JPMorgan.
Key Responsibilities
Work alongside Senior Cross Currency Solutions PSS supporting the execution of the
strategy for growing the Latin America P&L
Pipeline management and target list development, execution from pre-sales to
winning mandates and closing deals, senior management reporting
Opportunity analysis by leveraging internal data
Conduct Portfolio Reviews across Banking and Payments stakeholders, and measure
progress against identified opportunities
Client presentations and presales activities - Coordinate with Payments Sales, JPM
Bankers and FX Sales for proactive and targeted client calling; develop and
present client relevant and thoughtful solution presentations
Close coordination with Payments sales, product management and RFP team to
coordinate RFP responses and pricing decisions
Qualifications
" BA, Economy or Engineering from a top-tier program or equivalent graduate level
education preferred
" Strong knowledge of transaction banking, Payments FX, cross-border payments
" Payments or FX oriented sales experience and excellent client facing skills.
" Able to work under direct portfolio growth targets, in a competitive environment
" Exceptional writing, verbal communication and client facing skills
" Ability to develop collaborative relationships with key internal partners
sales, product management, client service, and Global Bankers
" Advanced Power Point and Excel
" Fluent English and Advanced or Fluent Spanish
" Availability for International Travel
