Hotel Villa Lobos Ltda is pleased to offer the position of Assistant of Hotel Governance to a qualified candidate.
Responsibilities:
1.
Assist in the supervision of the housekeeping team: Distribute tasks, monitor team performance, ensure that rooms are clean and organized according to hotel standards.
2.
Conduct room inspections: Perform inspections of rooms to ensure cleanliness and order, and report any issues to the Head of Housekeeping.
3.
Maintain inventory: Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and other necessary items, and place orders as needed.
4.
Guest relations: Assist guests with any requests or concerns they may have, and ensure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
5.
Training and development: Assist in the training and development of new housekeeping team members, and ensure they are familiar with hotel policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
1.
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
2.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
3.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4.
Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance techniques and procedures.
5.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
6.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
7.
Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
