Job Purpose
As an Assistant IT Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of IT
support engineer, managing infrastructure services, project delivery, IT
operations and as well as service delivery management within the country.
Partner with local site leadership team to drive and shape demand for new requests
and ensure day-to-day business as usual and quality operations at a site level,
are enabled through the continued availability of ESI supported technologies and
platform.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and manager local IT operations team. Ensure the smooth running on day-to-day
IT operations, including End-User Support and closely monitoring IT service
incident and request have been resolved timely.
Have a deep understanding of local IT infrastructure, process, technology, and
adoption of continual services improvement. Ensure local systems infrastructure
and network running in good shape and remain high availability. Must be capable of
doing hands-on and break/fix local work.
Work on projects assigned and ensure the project scopes, goals, timelines,
resources, and deliverables are in line with business goals and tracking projects
progress timely.
Liaise between different business stakeholders to ensure smooth operations,
support and delivery of IT services.
Assist the Regional IT Manager in conducting IT planning of the respective country
including infrastructure resilience, IT operation excellence to support the
Business Units effectively.
Preparing annual IT budget and administer IT operating budgets.
Building and maintaining relationships with external vendors.
Provide regular progress report on IT projects and activities to local leadership
team.
Requirements
Must be fluent in English
Must be able to travel up to 20% of working time; travel will be both domestic and
international
Must be capable of working and supporting a Windows environment
At least 10+ years of experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Relevant
industry
